Heart Disease
Heart Disease
Heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women in the United States.  More than 1.5 million heart attacks occur in the United States annually, resulting in up to 500,000 deaths each year.  In up to 50 percent of all heart attacks, the heart attack itself is the first symptom of heart disease.  The early diagnostics and intervention is the single best defense.

Risk Factors
One-in-four adults have some form of cardiovascular disease.  If you have one of the following risk factors you belong in a higher- risk group: family history of CAD, high cholesterol, history of smoking, diabetes, high blood pressure or if you are obese.
